"GOOD COMMUNICATION"
Good communication is effective communication. Effective communication is the exchange of information, ideas, feelings that results in a change in attitude so that a good relationship is established between the message giver and the message recipient. Measuring the effectiveness of a communication process can be seen from the achievement of the message sender's goals.
Communication becomes important because of the function that can be felt by the communicators. Through communication, a person can convey what is on the mind of his mind and feelings of conscience to others, either directly or indirectly. Through communication, a person can make himself not feel isolated or isolated from the environment around him.
But on the contrary, ineffective communication can cause several problems and create an uncomfortable atmosphere whether it is in the work, friendship, community, or even family environment.
Some of these problems are:
1. Cause Information Error
2. Stretch Social Relations
3. Triggering the Ongoing Conflict
4. Cause Misunderstanding
Factors Causing Poor Communication:
1. Different perceptions (selfish)
2. The information conveyed is not clear
3. Physical limitations to the speaker or listener, for example a receipt that causes you to not be able to speak, therefore this makes communication worse
4. Interference with communication media, for example: wifi, internet networks, handphone, or event laptop.
5. Status effect
There are differences in the influence of social status that every human being has. For example, employees with lower social status must obey and obey whatever orders are given by their superiors. Then the employee cannot or is afraid to express his aspirations or opinions.
6. Cultural Differences
The obstacles that occur are caused by differences in culture, religion and social environment. In an organization there are several different ethnic groups, races and languages. So that there are several words that have different meanings in each syllable. For example: the word "don't" in Indonesian means no, but Javanese people interpret the word as a type of food in the form of soup.
There are several things you might try to solve the various problems above:
-Learn the communicant or the communicator with whom you are talking in a communication process
-Understanding the language system used by the interlocutor, if not possible, use a translator or use a language that is equally understood
-If there are physical obstacles, use a third party as a communication assistant, if it is not possible, use communication media that both facilitate the communicating parties, such as using written media
-Exercising empathy for the point of view of the interlocutor, especially in the aspects of speech and culture
-Trying to always confirm the perception you have by asking the other person
Those are some ways to deal with communication disorders that you may experience. Hopefully, with a few short tips above, you can communicate more effectively!
